Ten Magnolias and Mollie
NEWLY ARRIVED TITLES: 2009

YOUNG ADULT FICTION:

Ten Magnolias by Elga Haymon White

Meet Tabitha Blair, great-niece of Captain Peter Blair…Go with Tabitha as she encounters the many ‘twists and turns’ of life…Stand to one side and observe as ‘fate carves Tabitha’s future’ as the lone survivor to inherit “the big old house on the river,” as it was known to the townspeople of Vicksburg, Mississippi.

Learn how Tabitha’s ‘sideways convictions,’ ‘her foolish ups-and-downs,’ and ‘un-even temperament’ guides her through life. Follow Tabitha’s ‘winding path to glory and fame as she rides the crest of the river,’ then slowly fades into ‘almost-obliviousness.’

"MOLLIE" written by Wayne Gabel and Illustrator Linda Phillips was edited by several people on the staff.

$15.95 - ISBN 978- 098406552-3

Mollie the young pony never wanted to be different. She strived in every way to be like all the other animals on the farm. There was just one problem. She had two legs shorter on one side than the other. Through the adventures of this little pony, we find how being different is not a handicap but a journey; a journey to find one's place in life. Along with Mollie and all her new friends on Farmer Johns farm, we learn how each creature finds their special place in life and the ultimate goal of living a fulfilling existence. This little book does a great job of showing how there is nothing you cant overcome as long as you have friends.

God Made Me in China and BugsHollow
2009 CHILDREN'S BOOKS

GOD MADE ME IN CHINA
By Kristy Rodriguez

Linda T. Phillips came through quickly by helping this author with co-writing and the incredible drawings inside the easy-to-read-outloud book. This is a very fun story for children and it has been a fast and continuous seller as well.

God Made Me in China teaches that God loves all the children of the world...no matter where they are from or what they look like.

Final editing was done by VicToria Freudiger and everyone at Entry Way is very proud of Kristy for her accomplishment!

A Day in BugsHollow.

Author, Linda T. Phillips has taken it upon herself this past spring to begin writing and illustrating her own children's book, A Day in BugsHollow.

A Day in Bug's Hollow will prove to be a delightful day trip into the lives of several of the inhabitants of this tiny little bug burg. First time author, Linda Phillips, one of our very own editors and illustrators, has managed to transform us to a magical place where being different is not so bad. As you share this book with your youngsters, allow the fantasy of these fun little creatures to take you to a child-like, simplistic world where life-lessons are absorbed without even trying. Congratulations Linda for being so fantastically creative.

Author, Lynn Fast will be the next author and book to move into the pre-publishing stages. In her book, Every Day is a Special Day, she will provide a two-fold display of creative family life.

Kathy Klein has finalized artistic cleanup work on Lynn's drawings and has actually drawn some herself. Unique to this book is the addition of some of Lynn's children's drawings from when they were very young.

One focus inside the book will be activities for mothers to provide their children; especially on a rainy day. Mixed within the fun of these activities, Lynn has written and artfully displayed arts and crafts ideas for the entire family to have fun with. The Entry Way Team members on Lynn's manuscript are Linda Phillips and VicToria Freudiger. Work has begun and a prefinal is due January 2010. Stay tuned for a look at the cover and to learn more about the status. We are honored that Lynn returned after not seeing her for several years. Welcome Back!
